The One and Only Wanderers lands on CounterPress promising "fresh, intelligent" coverage of Bolton

A new era of Bolton coverage arrives on CounterPress this summer, with the launch of The One and Only Wanderers.
The site will launch next month with a mandate to deliver fresh, intelligent coverage of the Lancashire club on their return to the Championship.
The One and Only Wanderers is fronted by editor, journalist and lifelong Bolton Wanderers fan, Matt Bottomley.
Matt's Wanderers journey began at the age of seven, watching the Whites defeat Atlético Madrid, before following the club up and down the divisions, for better or worse.
Forever seated in the Nat Lofthouse Stand Upper, Matt couldn't really get a better view of the pitch, Aaron Wilbraham's winner against Nottingham Forest or that of any 'jump' Kevin Davies made.
Whilst Matt's love for the game came from the forever Reebok pitch, he has a backlog of journalistic experience under his belt. From working at a number of football clubs, to writing for the likes of the BBC and The Telegraph, alongside editing several online publications, Matt has seen and covered a lot of football over his short career in publishing.
"Bolton Wanderers are on the up and now it's time to deliver the coverage that matches that."

The One and Only Wanderers members can look forward to Bolton Wanderers news told in a fresh way, alongside opinions from the stands with in-depth analysis, exclusive content and long reads made for those with the Wanderers embedded in them, whether they chose it or not.
This is far more than any normal news site to cover the Wanderers; it's a community built for true Bolton Wanderers fans.
Matt said: "Covering my club has been something I have wanted to do for a long time, and with the One and Only Wanderers, now is the right time.
"It's all about creating something worthwhile for a fanbase that has been starved of it for too long. Bolton Wanderers are on the up and now it's time to deliver the coverage that matches that.
"The One and Only Wanderers is designed to give fans top-quality coverage in a new way from someone who is one of you."
The One and Only Wanderers early interest waiting list is now open, ahead of a full launch next month.
