Forever Blues relaunches on CounterPress to deliver "in-depth and insightful" coverage of Birmingham City
Forever Blues is set to enhance its offering after moving to CounterPress, providing unrivalled local coverage for Birmingham City fans.
New season, new era. Another established football site will move onto the CounterPress network this summer, with the exciting relaunch of Forever Blues.
Founded in July 2025, Forever Blues has already cemented its position as the ultimate source of independent Birmingham City coverage.
The site, which already receives around 10,000 visitors a month, is fronted by journalist Colin Tattum.
Colin covered Blues for the Birmingham Mail & Sports Argus as correspondent and chief sports writer for 28 years before becoming head of media and communications at St. Andrew's in 2014.
Most recently he worked in academy talent ID & recruitment at the club before returning full-time to the media and writing by joining Forever Blues.
"I'm so enthused about elevating the coverage of Birmingham City for the Blues community by coming onto the CounterPress platform."

Members can look forward to in-depth and insightful coverage of Blues, incorporating all the latest news, lowdown on transfers, features, insider analysis, nostalgia as well as the popular Forever Blues podcast, with club legend Paul Tait, which has proven a big hit during the past year.
On the CounterPress platform, Forever Blues is set to enhance its offering, providing an unrivalled local coverage for Birmingham City fans.
Colin said: "I'm so enthused about elevating the coverage of Birmingham City for the Blues community by coming onto the CounterPress platform.
"And it's a privilege for me to able to return to my first love of writing about the club in a full-time capacity.
"Hopefully Forever Blues will satisfy Blues' fans desire for news, views, information and interaction, plus that all important behind-the-scenes context. This is a long-term commitment and I’d love fans to come on this exciting journey as the club attempts to chart new heights."
Forever Blues' early interest waiting list is now open ahead of a full launch later this week.
Birmingham City becomes the 20th football club in the Premier League, EFL and National League to be covered by a CounterPress outlet.
Prominent titles across the divisions include The Moonraker (Swindon Town), Full Throstle (West Bromwich Albion), From Bromley With Love (Bromley FC), The Brighton Base (Brighton & Hove Albion), Saturday White Fever (Fulham), The Phoenix (Coventry City) and The Wanderers Post (Wolves).
"Colin knows the Blues back to front and inside out, and his reporting will always be insightful, intelligent, and of value to the fanbase."
